Since April 2009 I have been designing and making 1950s inspired wedding dresses under the Lizzie Jayne label.

During my own search for a wedding dress, I became frustrated with the lack of choice when it came to high quality, affordable wedding dresses in a 1950s silhouette, so I decide to do something about it.

Combining my love of sewing and knowledge of fashion history with my passion for anything handmade, I created Lizzie Jayne Designs.

Every one of my dresses is handmade to individual measurements from a huge choice of fabrics and colours, so your dress can be as unique as you are.

I work the highest quality silks and cottons, so you can be sure your wedding dress will be the most luxurious thing you’ll ever wear.

I’m based in Hampshire, England – only one hour by train from London Waterloo – and I love nothing better than meeting brides-to-be and helping to make their dreams come true.
